The MPMe is SMART because its workflow automation (known as FlowFocus™ technology) prevents track overwrites, sets track levels, performs auto fades, modifies screen behaviors based on player content, determines the logical sequence of playback execution, and actually guides the DJ through a music set with a series of visual cues.

With the Media Player Mixer Express™, the user is advantaged by LARGE (and easy-to-read) typeface data displays, helpful object state / digital asset content messages, and task-oriented, color-keyed optical flow cues. The MPMe work area is user-configurable as a wide field of view, "all objects in play", mixing palate at 1280x1024—OR—as a less cluttered, "low density field of view", screen presentation at 1024x768 resolution.
That's right, unlike some other products, MPMe screens are designed to size well in either 1024x768 or 1280x1024 resolution with a STANDARD 4:3 aspect ratio. However, the MPMe also scales nicely to fit WIDESCREEN aspect ratio resolutions such as 1366x768, 1360x768, and 1280x768.
Most screen shots posted on this Web site are at 1024x768. At 1024x768, additional operational controls—such as Mute All Players, Reset All Players To Normal Speed, and Cycle Theme Colors, etc.—are displayed below the player window section (that is, below the bottom boundary work area horizon). At 1024x768, users can scroll down to reach these occasionally used controls when needed (however most controls also offer speed-key activation via the keyboard).
In the MPMe, users with 1280x1024 graphics will have full view of all controls, data boxes, check boxes, and visual cues—without having to scroll. This configuration has its benefits; some people like to work with instant access to all data displays and controls. However at 1280x1024, while users can see and choose all controls at any time without screen manipulation, the presentation has many objects concurrently displayed across the work area canvas.
With this aspect in mind, some users may prefer to reduce the object density in their field of view by electing to go with 1024x768 graphics resolution. The widescreen 1280x768 resolution takes a "middle ground" showing most key command and message controls.
OK, the term "revolution" may be a bit too strong when describing the Media Player Mixer Express™ screen presentation, but the user-considerate, comfort-oriented screen and graphics design of the MPMe must certainly be acknowledged as a welcome resolution "evolution"!

The Media Player Mixer Express™ (MPMe) is a "virtual smart mixer" that blends superior search and play performance with live-assist automation and an innovative interface. The MPMe provides bold visual cues to DJs and sound producers as they control music and effects through SIX simultaneously available MP3, WAV or WMA capable media players—side-by-side, on one easy-to-read screen.
*Note: In April 2010 and later releases, the MPMe will also offer THREE additional effects (EFX) players accessible from the same interface screen (best-viewed at 1280x1024 resolution). This capability gives the MPMe a total of six active digital audio media players.
