Search the optimized catalog, choose your music track, then instantly load that track in ANY available MPMe player. The process takes less than 1 second* from title selection decision to Ready To Play state. The Search By combo box in the MPMe uses Microsoft Intellisense® technology to "predict" a track title as soon as you start entering letters... it can find your target title or artist or music type even before you've finished typing.

There's another unique speed boost option in the MPMe—the many one-click attribute filters that allow the user to immediately view and select matching tracks in key categories like Year of Release, Music Code (a music type sub genre classification), Set Name, named Playlists, Wedding tracks, Decade of Release, etc. For example, find one track from the 1980s, click to see ALL tracks from the same decade. Or, browse and choose one track which happens to be a member of the "Surf and Sun" music set—such as "Beach Baby" by First Class—then click one button to see ALL available tracks in that same named music set... songs like "California Sun" by The Rivieras, "Pipeline" by the Chantays, and "Surf City" by Jan and Dean.

Plus, the sophisticated search and display method** in the MPMe can deliver linked results across as many as FIVE discrete categories with just ONE search cue. That's right, with the MPMe, search once and view your results in prioritized context with many tracks that share common attributes like tempo, artist value, music type, decade or year of release, etc.

Here are more examples: Locate one Madonna track, and then click once to see (and have the option to load and play) ALL Madonna tracks. Locate one Rolling Stones track—which has been categorized by the MMB DJ catalog with a "British Invasion" music code sub genre value—and then click once to see, load and play any, or ALL, British Invasion tracks such as hits from the Stones, Beatles, Hollies, Searchers, Petula Clark, and so on.**

What is the Media Player Mixer Express™ ?

The Media Player Mixer Express™ (MPMe) is a "virtual smart mixer" that blends superior search and play performance with live-assist automation and an innovative interface. The MPMe provides bold visual cues to DJs and sound producers as they control music and effects through SIX simultaneously available MP3, WAV or WMA capable media players—side-by-side, on one easy-to-read screen.

In April 2010 and later releases, the MPMe will also offer THREE additional effects (EFX) players accessible from the same interface screen (best-viewed at 1280x1024 resolution). This capability gives the MPMe a total of six active digital audio media players.
